The Way of the Chosen is an eight-lesson interactive Bible study for individuals or small groups that works in tandem with each episode of the show. In modeling “the narrow road that leads to life” it includes:
- Forgiving the way Jesus does
- Going when and where He says to go
- Grieving what He grieves
- Standing firm on His words and character
- Delighting in the things that please Him
- Asking because He says to
- Welcoming those He welcomes
- Trusting His will and way
Readers will be challenged to move from knowing who Jesus is to living out their faith by going the way of the Chosen.
Author Bio:
Amanda Jenkins is an author, speaker, and the lead creator of The Chosen’s additional content. Her husband, Dallas Jenkins, son of celebrated Left Behind author Jerry Jenkins, directed and
produced over a dozen feature and short films before creating The Chosen, the largest crowd-funded media project of all time. They currently live in Texas with their four children.
Dr. Douglas S. Huffman, the evangelical biblical consultant for the television series, is Professor of New Testament and Associate Dean of Biblical and Theological Studies at Talbot School of Theology
(Biola University) in California.

I am working through season 2 after doing season 1 bible study. I absolutely love the bible study because it digs deeper than just reading Scripture. It gives history, both old and new testament. Food for thought. I only wish there was a leaders guide. 😉😉😉 I highly recommend these studies. They're great for individual, one on one, and a group study!!!
This Bible Study is AMAZING! I have learned and re-learned so much from it. The only thing that I wish is that when I am reading the scripts included that there was a reference as to what episode and where to find it. I would like this because I would like to read the script and then watch it.
Very beautiful and once again, very well written. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I have to pay someone to translate it into Spanish for me. I have been using the DVD's and Bible Studies to teach classes in Communist Cuba. I really wish that the "powers that be" would have the Bible Studies available in other languages!
I have led the Bible Studies for Seasons 1 and 2 and I thought they were excellent! They are very refreshing, accurate, inspiring, just the right length, and not overwhelming. I lead two different groups, one in the morning and one in the evening. The ladies watch the episodes and do the Bible Study on their own, then we meet to discuss them. I often show a clip from the episode. We are learning so much and the ladies are becoming much more familar with the Bible and coming closer to Christ. We all love THE CHOSEN! I have ordered the Bible Study for Season 3 but I have not begun it yet. We will study it in the Fall. I pray for the cast and crew and I'm so grateful for THE CHOSEN.
I watched Season 3 without purchasing the study guide. I loved every episode. Now I am watching Season 3 again while also using the study guide. The study guide helps me learn so much more and I understand the episodes in deeper detail. It is time well spent!
